The Safford Bulldogs topped the visiting Thatcher Eagles basketball team by a final score of 67-54 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, January 10. Safford will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Fighting Colts enter the game with a 5-7 record after their 69-33 non-league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM).
