In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Muncie Burris Owls basketball team scored a close 46-40 win over the Southern Wells Raiders.

The Owls (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Seton Catholic (Richmond, IN). The Cardinals come into the Pioneer - North contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Seton Catholic edged Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN), 66-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN) in a Allen County contest, on Friday, January 31. Southern Wells will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record. The Starfires come into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 49-27 non-league win over Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN).
