Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA), 21-4 in a league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aspire Langston Hughes Academy for a Central California Athletic Alliance outing on Wednesday, May 7.

With the loss, River Islands moves to 2-8 on the season. The Riptide travel to Aspire Langston Hughes Academy (Stockton, CA) to encounter the Titans in a non-league outing on Friday, May 2. The Titans come into the outing with a record of 0-6. Aspire Langston Hughes Academy lost 14-1 in their recent league outing against Millennium (Tracy, CA)
