Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ), saw Mesquite's basketball squad hold off Cactus Shadows by a tally of 68-63.

With the victory, Mesquite improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 9-6.
