The Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) basketball toppled the host Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT), 60-40 in Friday's league bout.

The Wreckers now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Warde for a Fairfield County bout on Tuesday, January 28. Staples will play a Mustangs team coming off a 78-62 league win over St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Wilton falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT) to face the Hilltoppers in a Fairfield County outing on Tuesday, January 28. The Hilltoppers enter the outing with a record of 2-2.
