The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) and the visiting Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN), observed Franklin Community's basketball team edge Martinsville by a score of 46-40.

The Grizzly Cubs (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Southport (Indianapolis, IN). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Southport was tipped by Columbus North (Columbus, IN), 75-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Artesians encounter the Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Martinsville will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record.
