The North Surry Greyhounds bounced the host Surry Central Golden Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 83-59 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Greyhounds clash with the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) in a 2A Foothills outing, on Tuesday, January 21. North Surry will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Vikings enter the outing with a 7-7 record after their 74-36 league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC).

The Golden Eagles (10-3) will now prepare for their game against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Cardinals go into the 2A Foothills game with a 7-6 record.
