Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ), saw Washington's basketball squad hold off Youngker by a tally of 70-65.

With the victory, Washington improves its record to 7-13 on the campaign. The Rams host Glendale (Glendale, AZ) to confront the Cardinals in a 5A Central Valley challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Glendale lost 80-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Westview (Avondale, AZ)
