Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), 52-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Smith Valley upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 1-1.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coral Academy of Science - Reno for a 2A Northern match on Tuesday, December 10. Pershing County will face a Falcons squad coming off a 51-33 non-league win over Herlong (Herlong, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
