The North Wilkes Vikings basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host West Wilkes Blackhawks to 45 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Wilkes Central for a 2A Foothills game on Friday, January 10. North Wilkes will play a Eagles team coming off a 60-48 non-league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-7.
