Michigan High School Basketball - Ellsworth overwhelms North Michigan Christian Academy
February 2, 2024: Ellsworth, MI 49729 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ellsworth Lancers (Ellsworth, MI) and the visiting North Michigan Christian Academy Comets (Burt Lake, MI), saw Ellsworth's basketball squad wallop North Michigan Christian Academy by a tally of 75-32.
With the victory, Ellsworth improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Lancers host St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI) to play the Snowbirds in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Snowbirds come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. St. Mary Cathedral won 36-33 in their recent league challenge against Mancelona (Mancelona, MI)
Next up, the Comets play the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen (Harbor Springs, MI) in a Northern Lakes challenge, on Monday, February 5. North Michigan Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Swordsmen come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 70-34 league win over Boyne Falls (Boyne Falls, MI).
