The Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN), 93-64 in Friday's non-league test.

The Sabers (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Lakers go into the AAAA Section 2 test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Prior Lake walloped Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN), 74-56, in a non-league test.

The Irish now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeville South for a non-league test on Thursday, January 18. Rosemount will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 76-71 league loss to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 8-5.
