The New Bern Bears baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Dixon Bulldogs to 2 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bears (6-1) will now prepare for their match against J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC). The Rampants go into the Big East 3A/4A match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, J.H. Rose tipped D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC), 13-7, in a league match.
