Louisiana High School Basketball - Pearl River overwhelms Mt. Hermon
February 5, 2024: Pearl River, LA 70452 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pearl River Rebels (Pearl River, LA) and the visiting Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets (Mt. Hermon, LA), saw Pearl River's basketball squad wallop Mt. Hermon by a tally of 70-43.
With the victory, Pearl River improves its record to 13-15 on the campaign. The Rebels host Franklinton (Franklinton, LA) to play the Demons in a 4A District 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Franklinton lost 87-78 in their recent non-league challenge against Capitol (Baton Rouge, LA)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Pine Raiders (Franklinton, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Mt. Hermon will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 17-14 record after their 49-40 league win over Sumner (Kentwood, LA).
