The Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), 43-21 in Monday's non-league test.

The Bears (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Clayton (Clayton, NM). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Clayton was trounced by Des Moines (Des Moines, NM), 55-49, in a non-league test.
