The Cypress Woods Wildcats basketball team (Cypress, TX), was nudged 36-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX)

The Panthers now possess a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bridgeland for a 6A Region II District 16 battle on Friday, January 13. Cypress Springs will battle a Bears team coming off a 44-37 league loss to Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX). The Bears record now stands at 10-17.

The Wildcats (14-11) will now prepare for their battle against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region II District 16 battle with a 4-18 record. In their last battle, Cypress Park was nudged by Cypress Falls (Houston, TX), 63-32, in a league battle.
