December 22, 2023: Monroe, WI 53566 The Monroe Cheesemakers (Monroe, WI) basketball nipped the visiting New Glarus Glarner Knights (New Glarus, WI), 75-71 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cheesemakers (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI). The Eagles go into the Badger - Small test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Sauk Prairie got by Baraboo (Baraboo, WI), 63-57, in a league test.
The Glarner Knights now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Brodhead for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. New Glarus will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 86-72 non-league loss to Marshall (Marshall, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-3.
