Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV), 71-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Ripley (Ripley, WV) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 11-10. Ripley lost 44-37 in their recent league bout against Logan (Logan, WV)
