Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN) and the visiting Boonville Pioneers (Boonville, IN), saw Pike Central's basketball squad hold off Boonville by a tally of 56-55.

With the victory, Pike Central improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Henderson County (Henderson, KY) to confront the Colonels in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Colonels come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Henderson County won 87-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Dawson Springs (Dawson Springs, KY)

Next up, the Pioneers confront the Evansville Christian Eagles (Evansville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Boonville will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
