The Tekamah-Herman Tigers (Tekamah, NE) basketball nipped the host Stanton Mustangs (Stanton, NE), 47-43 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE). The Gators go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Wisner-Pilger got by Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE), 57-45, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host West Point-Beemer for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. Stanton will encounter a Cadets squad coming off a 40-28 non-league win over Roncalli Catholic (Omaha, NE). The Cadets record now stands at 2-0.
