Illinois High School Lacrosse - Lyons overwhelms Naperville Central
May 8, 2023: Naperville, IL 60540 The Lyons Lions triumphed over the host Naperville Central Redhawks lacrosse team by a score of 13-2 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Lyons upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Lions host York (Elmhurst, IL) to battle the Dukes in a West Suburban outing on Thursday, May 11. The Dukes go into the outing with a record of 9-6. York lost 13-7 in their recent non-league outing against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL)
With the defeat, Naperville Central drops to 6-9 on the season. The Redhawks travel to Naperville North (Naperville, IL) to face the Huskies in a DuPage Valley test on Wednesday, May 10. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 9-4. Naperville North lost 14-13 in their recent non-league test against Sandburg/Andrew/Stagg (Orland Park, IL)
