December 21, 2023: Anahuac, TX 77514 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) and the visiting Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX), saw Anahuac's basketball squad hold off Little Cypress-Mauriceville by a tally of 63-56.
With the victory, Anahuac improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Milby (Houston, TX) to play the Buffs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Buffs come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Milby won 66-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Houston Math Science & Tech (Houston, TX)
Next up, the Bears play the Cleveland Indians (Cleveland, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Little Cypress-Mauriceville will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record.
