North Carolina High School Basketball - Cox Mill winner over New Hanover

The Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) basketball felled the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), 59-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Chargers (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Hoggard thwarted Heritage (Wake Forest, NC), 32-20, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Western Alamance for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 28. New Hanover will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 75-64 non-league win over Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 9-1.
