Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), 59-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Hoggard upgrades its record to 22-2 on the season. The Vikings host South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-19. South Brunswick lost 57-19 in their recent league bout against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
