West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC), 84-47 in a league bout.

With the win, West Rowan upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC) to play the Knights in a 3A South Piedmont bout on Friday, January 19. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Lake Norman Charter lost 65-28 in their recent league bout against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Robinson will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 57-29 league loss to Concord (Concord, NC).
