The Mars Fightin' Planets basketball team (Mars, PA), was overwhelmed 79-58 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA)

The Tigers now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Fayette for a WPIAL 5A 4 battle on Thursday, January 25.

The Fightin' Planets (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Montour (McKees Rocks, PA). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 11-2 record.
