The Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM), 66-33 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Buffaloes (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Tatum (Tatum, NM). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Tatum was trounced by Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM), 61-39, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a non-league test on Friday, January 5.
