New York High School Softball - Saranac holds off AuSable Valley

The Saranac Chiefs the host AuSable Valley Patriots softball squad by a final score of 9-7 in Monday's league battle.

The Chiefs (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Beekmantown by Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY), 15-8, in a league battle.

The Patriots now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Moriah for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 17. AuSable Valley will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 1-12.
