Ohio High School Baseball - Fairless loses to Orrville
April 6, 2022: Orrville, OH 44667 The Fairless Falcons baseball team (Navarre, OH), was overwhelmed 16-3 in Wednesday's league outing with the host Orrville Red Riders (Orrville, OH)
The Red Riders now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chippewa for a non-league outing on Friday, April 8. Orrville will face a Chipps team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Smithville (Smithville, OH). The Chipps record now stands at 0-3.
Next, the Falcons face the Northwest Indians (Canal Fulton, OH) in a Principals outing, on Monday, April 11. Fairless will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
Game Summary
The Falcons opened up their season last night with a tough one out at Orrville. The final was 16-3 in five innings. Orrville was able to capitalize on some errors and misplayed balls by the Falcons early in the game to break the game open. The Falcons bats came to life in the 5th, with an RBI double by Ethan Lautzenheiser, and RBI single by Andy Gill, and an RBI ground out by Cameron Perez. Zack Long added a single as well. The Falcons host Necomerstown on Friday.
