Game Story

Indiana High School Basketball - Southwestern overwhelms Milan

January 27, 2023: Hanover, IN 47243

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN) and the visiting Milan Indians (Milan, IN), saw Southwestern's basketball squad wallop Milan by a tally of 78-48.

With the victory, Southwestern improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to South Ripley (Versailles, IN) to confront the Raiders in a Ohio River Valley challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. South Ripley lost 52-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN)

Next up, the Indians confront the Switzerland County Pacers (Vevay, IN) in a Ohio River Valley challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Milan will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Pacers come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 55-51 non-league win over South Decatur (Greensburg, IN).
