October 15, 2022: Franklin, NH 03235 In Saturday's league game, the Newport Tigers (Newport, NH) football team smashed the host Franklin Tornadoes (Franklin, NH), by a score of 57-0.
The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Mill River (North Clarendon, VT). The Minutemen come into the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Mill River was ripped by Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT), 31-28, in a non-league game.
The Tornadoes now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Brady for a Division IV game on Saturday, October 29. Franklin will battle a Giants team coming off a 54-0 league loss to Somersworth (Somersworth, NH). The Giants record now stands at 3-3.
