February 2, 2024: Belton, TX 76513 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) and the visiting Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX), saw Belton's basketball squad wallop Lake Belton by a tally of 81-45.
With the victory, Belton improves its record to 26-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Killeen (Killeen, TX) to play the Kangaroos in a 5A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Kangaroos come into the challenge with a record of 3-25. Killeen lost 86-51 in their recent league challenge against Ellison (Killeen, TX)
Next up, the Broncos play the Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX) in a 5A Region III District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Lake Belton will attempt to improve on its 11-20 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 17-18 record after their 66-61 league win over Waco (Waco, TX).
