The Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) basketball crushed the host Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC), 69-45 in Tuesday's league test.

The Falcons (7-15) will now prepare for their test against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds go into the Western Piedmont 2A challenge with a 14-9 record. In their last challenge, North Surry was overwhelmed by Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC), 70-65, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) in a Western Piedmont 2A challenge, on Friday, February 14. Carver will attempt to improve on its 2-20 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-22 record after their 62-42 league loss to North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC).
