The Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) baseball nipped the visiting West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN), 8-7 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 23. Covington will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Bearcats enter the contest with a 9-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Clifton Central (Clifton, IL).
