The Newtown Nighthawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host New Milford Green Wave to 1 in the Nighthawks non-league victory on Monday.

The Nighthawks now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joel Barlow for a South-West game on Wednesday, April 10. Newtown will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 5-0.

The Green Wave (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Newington (Newington, CT). The Nor'easters enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Newington gained a win over Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT), 3-0, in a non-league game.
