Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) and the visiting Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA), saw Keota's basketball squad wallop Colfax-Mingo by a tally of 70-44.

With the victory, Keota improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA) to confront the Warhawks in a South Iowa Cedar test on Tuesday, January 9. The Warhawks go into the test with a record of 8-3.

The Tigerhawks now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Sigourney for a South Iowa Cedar test on Tuesday, January 9. Colfax-Mingo will encounter a Savages squad coming off a 53-45 non-league win over Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Savages record now stands at 6-5.
