The Pershing County Mustangs topped the visiting Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons basketball team by a final score of 41-23 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV) in a 2A Northern game, on Tuesday, January 16. Pershing County will attempt to move on its 15-1 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 5-4 record after their 44-36 league win over Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV).

With the defeat, Coral Academy of Science - Reno moves to 5-10 on the year.
