The Pasco Pirates basketball team (Dade City, FL), was overwhelmed 72-36 in Monday's league contest with the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL)

The Royal Knights now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hudson for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 25. River Ridge will meet a Cobras team coming off a 71-62 league loss to Anclote (Holiday, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 1-14.

The Pirates (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 9-11 record.
