The South Caldwell Spartans basketball team (Hudson, NC), was routed 30-7 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC)

The Huskies now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Watauga for a non-league battle on Friday, February 10. Ashe County will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 46-23 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-3.

The Spartans (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Hibriten was routed by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 56-13, in a non-league battle.
