Mississippi High School Basketball - Thrasher holds off Myrtle
November 13, 2023: Myrtle, MS 38650 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Thrasher Rebels (Booneville, MS) and the host Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), saw Thrasher's basketball squad hold off Myrtle by a tally of 54-51.
With the victory, Thrasher improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host Jumpertown (Booneville, MS) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 16. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Jumpertown won 63-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Tremont (Tremont, MS)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Blue Mountain Cougars (Blue Mountain, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 14. Myrtle will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 62-60 non-league win over Thrasher (Booneville, MS).
