The High Point Central Bison basketball team (High Point, NC), was overwhelmed 63-15 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC)

The Cougars now possess a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dudley for a 3A Conference 46 battle on Friday, February 3. Rockingham County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 55-44 league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 14-6.

The Bison (0-20) will now prepare for their battle against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the 3A Conference 46 battle with a 16-2 record. In their last battle, Ben L. Smith trounced Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 66-38, in a league battle.
