September 29, 2023: Opelousas, LA 70570

In Friday's league match, the host Northwest Raiders football squad scored a big 56-12 victory over the Port Barre Red Devils.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) in a 3A District 4 match, on Friday, October 6. Northwest will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 15-14 non-league loss to Jennings (Jennings, LA).

The Red Devils (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Church Point (Church Point, LA). The Bears enter the 3A District 4 match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Church Point routed Mamou (Mamou, LA), 40-16, in a league match.
