Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Walnut Ridge Scots (Columbus, OH) and the visiting Independence 76ers (Columbus, OH), saw Walnut Ridge's basketball squad wallop Independence by a count of 82-35.

With the victory, Walnut Ridge upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Scots host Africentric Early College (Columbus, OH) to play the Nubians in a Columbus City - South challenge on Friday, January 19. The Nubians come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Africentric Early College won 74-52 in their recent league challenge against Eastmoor Academy (Columbus, OH)
