North Carolina High School Soccer - Wheatmore knocks off Thomasville
September 21, 2022: Thomasville, NC 27360 Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge, on Monday, September 26. Wheatmore will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 6-5 league loss to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC).
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Davidson for a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Monday, September 26. Thomasville will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-3.
