The North Branford Thunderbirds basketball team (North Branford, CT), was overwhelmed 67-29 in Thursday's league battle with the host Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT)

The Warriors now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haddam-Killingworth for a Shoreline battle on Saturday, December 18. Valley Regional will confront a Cougars team coming off a 50-27 league loss to Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.

The Thunderbirds (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Huskies come into the Shoreline battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Morgan was overwhelmed by East Hampton (East Hampton, CT), 36-34, in a league battle.
