The Mustangs (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Greyhounds come into the 3A West Conference 51 challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Statesville knocked off North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 15-9, in a league challenge.
The Red Tornadoes now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Lincoln for a 3A West Conference 51 challenge on Friday, September 23. Hickory will meet a Knights team coming off a 15-9 league loss to Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.
