January 29, 2022: Skokie, IL 60077 The Leyden Eagles basketball team (Franklin Park, IL), was overwhelmed 53-29 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL)
The Vikings now possess a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Park for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 1. Niles North will battle a Lions team coming off a 57-47 non-league loss to Hyde Park (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 13-12.
The Eagles (8-13) will now prepare for their battle against Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL). The Mustangs come into the West Suburban - Gold battle with a 8-13 record. In their last battle, Berwyn/Cicero Morton was overwhelmed by Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL), 50-39, in a non-league battle.
