The Benjamin Davis Falcons basketball team (Houston, TX), was routed 73-34 in Friday's league battle with the host Spring Lions (Spring, TX)

The Lions now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aldine for a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Tuesday, February 1. Spring will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 89-58 league loss to Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-23.

The Falcons (16-12) will now prepare for their battle against Nimitz (Houston, TX). The Cougars come into the 6A Region II District 14 battle with a 16-12 record. In their last battle, Nimitz trounced Eisenhower (Houston, TX), 59-48, in a league battle.
