In Friday's non-league outing, the Hilton Cadets (Hilton, NY) basketball squad edged the host Brighton Bruins (Rochester, NY), by a count of 94-91.

The Cadets (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Victor (Victor, NY). The Blue Devils go into the Section 5 Monroe 1 outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Victor held off Irondequoit (Rochester, NY), 68-64, in a non-league outing.
