In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC), by a count of 65-39.

The Cougars (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Bunker Hill smashed Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC), 64-48, in a non-league outing.

The Raiders now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Foard for a 3A Conference 51 outing on Friday, December 10. North Iredell will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 52-47 non-league win over Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
